DESCRIPTION:Are you a Special Olympics athlete who is passionate about your health? Are you a Special Olympics athlete who is interested in leading other athletes to become healthier? Do you want a leadership role within SONM? If you answered YES\, consider submitting an application for our Health Messengers Training. This is a voluntary role and 3 athletes will be selected.\n\n\n\nHealth Messenger Training application submissions are due on Thursday\, January 28! All application info can be found on our Health & Unified Schools Resources Page\n\n\n\nIf you are accepted into the program\, the training dates include: February 9-March 4 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 1 PM via Zoom. That is a total of 8 hours of training spread out over a month.

SUMMARY:Virtual Winter Games
DESCRIPTION:Due to the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic\, we will once again be unable to provide in-person training and competition resulting in the continuation of our virtual programming in the 2021 SONM Virtual Winter Games.  Athletes will be eligible to choose to compete in four events from a list of fifteen.  Some of the events are poly hockey specific while others are geared toward general fitness. \nLearn more\, register\, and submit scores via the link included below.
