SONM Athlete James Munoz chosen to join the Special Olympics 2022 USA Games Athlete Input Council
The Carlsbad Local newspaper recently interviewed SONM athlete James Munoz regarding his acceptance onto the Special Olympics 2022 USA Games Athlete Input Council (AIC). James was one of 22 total Special Olympics athletes selected to serve on the 2022 USA Games AIC.

2020 Modified State Relay Run
On Friday, May 29, 2020, New Mexico law enforcement officers participated in a modified torch run for Special Olympics New Mexico. The participants ran through Albuquerque and ended at Civic Plaza where they lit the Special Olympics cauldron.
