Special Olympics New Mexico’s programs and services currently benefit more than 3,700 athletes with intellectual disabilities. Though that number may seem high, Special Olympics New Mexico only serves a small portion of the total number of individuals who have intellectual disabilities in the state of New Mexico. With your support, Special Olympics New Mexico can reach many more people with intellectual disabilities.
Special Olympics athletes train and compete locally free of charge, so it becomes challenging to provide everyone with the chance to benefit. There are a number of ways you can help make this happen. You can support SONM’s good work through gifts of cash, tribute gifts, matching gifts, planned giving, becoming part of our Giving Society, or through sponsorship opportunities.

Employer Matching Gifts
A matched gift is the easiest way to double or triple your donation. Many companies match charitable contributions made by their employees, retired employees or spouse’s employees. Ask your employer if they offer a matching gift program then simply obtain the form, fill out the information and send it in with your donation…we can do the rest.
