B-Volunteers
B-Level Volunteers are also known as our Day-of-Event Volunteers.
Whether you’re a new or a seasoned volunteer, the B-Level Volunteer program can be a great way to support one of our Competitions or Special Events. B-Level Volunteers can sign up for a one time commitment, typically for 2 to 4 hours at a time.

A-Volunteers
A-Volunteers include coaches, Unified Partners, chaperones, Local Program coordinators, and heads of delegation.
A-Volunteers are those who have regular, close physical contact with athletes; are in a position of authority or supervision (real or apparent); are in a position of trust of athletes; or handle a substantial amount of money.
If you are not sure if you need to complete the A-Volunteer Application, contact your Local Program Coordinator or Area Director.
In order to be an A-Volunteer for Special Olympics New Mexico, you must complete the A-Volunteer Form, pass a background check, and complete the appropriate training.
