It is with great sadness that I am writing to share with you that Chris Page passed away yesterday.
There is no other way to say this, but we are all just heartbroken. Chris served Special Olympics New Mexico for 31 years with an unbendable and unbreakable focus on our Sports Program. As we grieve his loss, we also pay tribute to what he meant to the Special Olympics movement in New Mexico and around the country. Please keep his family in your prayers.
Special Olympics New Mexico will host a Special Olympics Service honoring Chris on Saturday, January 18. Place and time are to be determined, and you will all be notified.
