Spread the Love Color Run
Join us for the 2nd annual Spread the Love Color Run on Saturday, July 11, at Balloon Fiesta Park, hosted by the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office! Proceeds benefit Special Olympics New Mexico.
There is a 5K run/walk ($45 adults/$25 youth) and a 1K run/walk ($25 adults/$15 youth) starting at 8AM on Saturday, July 11.
All registrations include a t-shirt PRIOR TO July 1. Shirts cannot be guaranteed for registrations after July 1.
Packet pick up is on Friday, July 10th from 5PM to 7PM at Sports Systems, 6915 Montgomery Blvd. NE. For those who cannot pick their packet up on the 10th, you can pick it up prior to the race starting from 6:30am to 7:30am.
A Run Above – 5k Fun Run, Roll and Stroll
Join us for A Run Above – 5k Fun Run, Roll and Stroll on Saturday, May 2 at A Park Above in Rio Rancho! 9:00 AM start time, so please arrive before to check-in! This is a free event and an inclusive 5k experience allowing people of all abilities to participate. You can run, roll or stroll through one of A Park Above’s 2 certified courses. This 5k is accessible for everyone!! Food trucks and vendors will also be present. A link to register as a participant or volunteer is included below!
Latitudes Torch Icon Campaign
Latitudes Torch Icon Campaign is back this May! Visit Latitudes in Rio Rancho during May and purchase a paper torch icon for $1 or more to support Special Olympics athletes! Thank you for your support!

FPD Aim for Ability Competition Fundraiser
Farmington: Save the date for the LETR Aim for Ability IDPA Pistol Shooting Competition, which will be held on Sunday May 3 beginning at 8:30 AM. Valencia County Family Day
Come out to support the Valencia County Family Day, Presented by Arevon, on Saturday, September 19 at Calvary Chapel in Belen! There will be a fire truck pull, car and bike show, cornhole tournament, and more! Save the date: 10 AM–4 PM on Saturday September 19th! Proceeds support Special Olympics New Mexico.
Guardian Games
The New Mexico Law Enforcement Torch Run Guardian Games will be held on Saturday, August 22 at Winrock Town Center. Unified teams of 4 will compete in 8 events located throughout Winrock. Each team will consist of 1 Special Olympics athlete, 2 sponsor participants, and 1 Law Enforcement Officer. The concept of the Games is to develop a closer relationship between Special Olympics athletes, law enforcement and New Mexico businesses through a fun and unique format. Sponsorship opportunities are available!
This event will also include a car show, food trucks and an artisan market – don’t miss it!
Isotopes First Responders Night and Guns vs Hoses Softball Game
First Responders Night is back at RGCU Field at Isotopes Park this Summer! Join us for First Responders Night with a Guns vs Hoses softball game before the baseball game on Friday, July 24th! Doors open at 5:00 PM for the softball game.
